The analysis of the existing methods of thermodynamic studies the formation fluids in “Gazprom”

This article describes the method ofthe reservoir fluids thermodynamic PVT-experiments used in PJSC "Gazprom". The study was performed to determine the advantages and the disadvantages of existing techniques.The difference between the considered methods is in the approach for the differential condensation of the main experiment which conducted in the phase equilibrium facilities. The differential condensation experiment simulates the reservoir depletion. Also in the article the specificity of the experiment was showed, ability of it in practical use, the comparison of the results of the each methods and the reasons of their disagreement are described.
Materials and methods
Using the procedures described in STO TyumenNIIgiprogaz 07-02-2014 and R Gazprom086-2010 conducted to simulate the physical operation of gas-condensate reservoir depletion, and a comparison of the results obtained CRC and reservoir losses.
Results
This analysis makes it possible to assess by stages the effectiveness of each methods of PVT-experiment and choose to the real process of formation work. In article were identifiedthe main cause of the methods difference and reason for results discrepancy.
Сonclusions
The analysis allows you to choose how to conduct a PVT-experiment most correctly describes the work of reservoir depletion. The results are useful in the calculation of reserves and the design development of gas condensate systems.
