Abstract
The successful experience of geomechanical modeling implementation into the production processes of the “Exploration and production” block on the basis of the head research and development institute of “NK “Rosneft” PJSC is considered. The implementation implies the use of geomechanical modeling for drilling optimization of exploration and production wells, taking measures to stimulate the inflow and to adjust the development system.

Materials and methods
The finite element method was used to build geomechanical models. To implement the results obtained, a project approach and work in a multi-disciplinary team were used.
