The article presents a solution to prevent hydrate formation at the initial stage of the gas processing by upgrading the operational algorithm of the node supplying methanol in the complex gas preparation facility.

A modernization of the node supplyingmethanol through the introduction of new equipment and adjustment of the system operational algorithm is presented.
1) As a result of the modernization of the system algorithm will decrease the flow of the hydration inhibitor.
2) Financial expenses for the purchase and installation of new equipment are compensated by further savings in costs of methanol.
3) The proposed algorithm and calculations show the efficiency and feasibility of the methanol supply unit upgrade, which will enhance the safety of production - reduce theconcentration in the working zone air of dangerous reagent vapor, and will save financial and human resources.
