THE PRICASPIAN BASIN NORTHEAST SIDE ZONE PRE-SALT DEPOSITS OIL-AND-GAS POTENTIAL ON 2D CDP SEISMIC SURVEY MATERIALS

Geological development of the basin side zones under complicated geological conditions during Paleozoic pre-Kungurian period entailed growth of various lihtologic-and-facies types of sections and occurrence of diverse structural-tectonic elements. As a result of seismic stratigraphy analysis, new information on depositional conditions and the pre-early-Permian seabed characteristic has been obtained. Plateau-like highs revealed in the shelf zone that is associated with known basement highs and massive positive structures present in the sedimentary mantle seem to be quite promising for search of oil and gas accumulations.
