The article describes a method of mapping which determinates and takes into account the spatial anisotropy of data. Consideration of anisotropy is based on the methodology of kernel functions. The algorithm is proposed which implements this technique in the DV-Geo program system.
Materials and methods
Geological and geophysical field data. The method of kernel functions, interpolation, kriging.
Results
The method of kernel functions has shown it effectiveness for anisotropy parameter determination.
Сonclusions
The method of kernel functions allows us to evaluate the overall data anisotropy
