For estimation of the displacement efficiency the results of the laboratory studies of core have been used as the background data. The estimation has been carried out with the use of petrophysical parameters, such as residual water saturation and the pore volume.
Materials and methods
OST 39-195-86 Oil. The method of estimating the water-oil displacement efficiency under the laboratory conditions.
Results
In this study the estimation of the displacement efficiency has been carried out with account for the impact that the core samples compressibility has on such parameters as residual watersaturation and the pore volume. The laboratory studies have shown the compressibility leads to the change in pore volume previously occupied by the residual water saturation.
Сonclusions
With account for the impact that the coresamples compressibility hason the displacement efficiency, the latter has grown within the range of15.66%-48.64%.
