Abstract
The article presents the influence of various solvents on the upgrading of Ashal’cha heavy oil under steam treatment. A comparison study was carried out. Changes in the composition of oil after the combined influence of steam and solvent were observed, which indicates a content reduction of high-molecular heteroatom compounds. Temperature dependence of oil viscosity characteristics with the use of individual solvents were revealed. Moreover, the changes in the elemental composition of oil after steam treatment in the presence of solvents are shown.
