EXPERIENCE OF GROUND SOUNDING MATERIALS USAGE TO ASSESS SEISMIC HAZARD

Article suggests application of remote sounding materials in investigating hazardous geological processes. Examples are given for space survey materials in seismic active areas which may interpreted both as fast and slow current earth crust movement, intensiveness and directivity. Remote sounding materials let us to reveal areas of deep, regional and local fractures with seismic dislodging gravitating to them to be the places of most probable potentially strong earthquakes. The info contained in the article may be useful for researchers and engineers of operation companies performing the jobs for investigating hazardous geologic processes, current earth crust movement and assessing seismic hazard of the areas being designed for construction of farious facilities.
