The paper describes the example of how to build Automated Process Control System (APCS) on the base of wireless sensor system which is designed for acquiring the telemetric information from territory-distributed natural gas storage facilities. Schemes of the wireless information system and its hardware-software components are shown in the paper. The advantages of wireless system conditioned bythe prompt setup of telemetric equipment on the gas wellhead were considered.
