The article presents the results of creating intelligent 3D model of the object by means of terrestrial laser scanning.
Materials and methods
Terrestrial laser scanning can determine the spatial coordinates of the object. The measurement is done at a very high speed.The process is realized by measuring the distances to all the pointsdetermined by pulsed laser rangefinder reflectionless.
Results
The result obtained by the laser scanner taken several groups of points, which are commonly called "cloud point". Further held 3D object modeling in software Smart Plant 3D, usingthe results of terrestrial laser scanning. 3D modeling can be carried out in other CAD systems are compatible with AutoCAD.
Сonclusions
Thus, the use of laser scanning technology in 3D design when creating or upgrading production to create a unified model of design and technology, provides an effective interactiondesigners, engineers and other specialists of the enterprise, and generally significantly reduces the time and increases the quality of technological preparation of production. 3D design technology can increase productivity through the ability to make quick changes at any stage of the design,simultaneous operation on a model of several person, simplify the development of design solutions through standardization [1].
