Article describes the possibility of improving the physicochemical properties of zeolite catalysts for oil refining, increasing their lifetime, as well as removing the environmental load carrying out the process of refining. The article information can be scientists and engineers, industrial organizations, the works for improving the octane number of motor fuels, and environmental performance of gasoline.
Materials and methods
The catalyst system for this process is a zeolite catalyst in the H-form brand Fairgrounds — TM-1327, released JSC "Nizhny Novgorod sorbents" coated with a organic modifier. The studies were conducted at atmospheric pressure in a laboratory setting, which was the raw material for gasoline fraction with a boiling range of NK-120°C, obtained by distillation of the gas condensate field "coastal" Krasnodar region.
Results
Optimum temperature for the process of refining the gasoline on organically modified zeolite catalysts is 100°C.
Сonclusions
Obtained results allow us to talk about the possibility of a significant increase in the octane number of fractions with a low boiling range to organically modified catalyst in a fairly mild conditions and, as a consequence, a significant reduction of energy consumption in the process of recycling of raw oil.
